Attendees get a head start for summer vacation plans or spur-of-the-moment getaways at Information, Tickets and Tours 16th Annual Travel and Recreation Trade Show Wednesday at Thomason Gym aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany. In spite of Monday’s rainy conditions, roughly 2,200 spectators from the local and surrounding communities watched the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon’s, the Marine Corps Color Guard’s and “The Commandant’s Own” Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps’ dazzling performances at the Battle Color Detachment Ceremony at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany. The event showcased the Marine Corps as well as allowed it to show its appreciation to the community, according to Col.
