While carrying out the mission of MCLB Albany, the Natural and Cultural Resources Program provides stewardship for the plant and animal species that inhabit the base, as well as the pre-historic, historic, and culturally significant resources that are noted in this area. The Marine Corps commitment is made with respect to federal laws, such as the Endangered Species Act and the National Historic Preservation Act, and other applicable regulations.
