Albany’s James H. Gray Sr. Civic Center rocked to the cadence of the Marine Corps’ Silent Drill Platoon from 8th and I Barracks in Washington, D.C. and the Albany Marine Band at the Battle Color ceremony Oct. 15. The community relations event has always been a crowd pleaser, and this year more than 3,700 spectators watched the latest visit by the Marine Corps’ premier performing unit.
