Col. Alphonso Trimble, commanding officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, signed a stalking awareness proclamation in front of Marines, civilians and several community groups at a ceremony Tuesday in front of the Base Chapel Annex. Following the reading of the proclamation, there was a quick break and then a detailed training session inside the Chapel.

Col. Alphonso Trimble, commanding officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, signed a stalking awareness proclamation in front of Marines, civilians and several community groups at a ceremony Tuesday in front of the Base Chapel Annex. Two members of the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany family were recognized Thursday with certificates for completing 100 hours of volunteer service with the local Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

Two members of the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany family were recognized Thursday with certificates for completing 100 hours of volunteer service with the local Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

During an emergency, it is critical that personnel, military family members and others aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany receive immediate notifications. Whether it is an active shooter, tornado or other threat, it is crucial that all personnel are notified of the hazard and know what actions to take. A special electronic mass notification system training was held for Public Safety dispatchers and Communication Operations and Strategy staff, Nov. 27.
