Fire causes power outage
Department
A substation aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany caught fire, Sept. 10. The base command decided to cut power to the rest of the base so emergency personnel could manage and ultimately extinguish the fire. Crews worked throughout the rest of the evening to bring power back to the installation. Most of MCLB Albany's workforce came to work the following day.

The base command decided to cut power to the rest of the base so emergency personnel could manage and ultimately extinguish the fire.
