MERITORIOUS PROMOTION: ACMC PROMOTES BASE MARINE The 36th Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Eric M. Smith, meritoriously promotes Cpl. Christopher Montano, military police officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, to the rank of sergeant on Aug. 2. Smith promoted Montano during a visit to the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany to familiarize himself with the installation.
