Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany police officers and active-duty service members represent the installation at Albany-Dougherty County’s annual 2017 Georgia Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, May 16. Lt. Delaney Bourlakov, adjutant, MCLB Albany, carried the ceremonial torch and led the run with fellow-Marine comrades and Marine Corps Police Department personnel in the early morning kickoff and the 5k run, which followed. The day’s activities were held to commemorate the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Week, the Torch Run for Special Olympics and to honor fallen officers.
