Donnell Mathis (left), environmental control manager, Dougherty County Public Works, and Napolean Butler (right), vector surveillance coordinator, Georgia Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Division, collaborate with Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany officials, recently. The team met with MCLB Albany emergency operations, chemical protection and Naval Branch Health Clinic-Albany’s personnel to identify strategies to fight against the Zika virus and to discuss how residents can be proactive in this effort to mitigate the mosquito-borne illness.
