A law enforcement officer, Marine Corps Police Department, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, scans the identification card of a driver entering the base using the new RAPIDGate system April 20. The new scanners will provide an additional layer of security for base residents, personnel and patrons on the installation and will be in full-effect for all motorists seeking entrance at MCLB Albany’s sentry checkpoints once fully implemented, May 1.
