April is the time when Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany officials, base personnel and parents join the nation in celebration of the “Month of the Military Child.” The annual event is a month set aside to recognize the many sacrifices made by the military’s littlest warfighters, the children. The proclamation signing and a parade commenced at the installation’s Child Development Center and ended with a reception at Covella Pond, here, April 8.
