Naval Station Mayport’s Navy Explosive Ordnance Deposal Team’s technician uses a device to analyze the contents of a suspicious bag found after base officials receive a bomb threat during a full-scale exercise on the installation, recently. Mission Assurance Branch emergency officials and base personnel at Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island, Jacksonville, Fla., mobilized a team of mutual aid partners to assess and successfully neutralize the threat.
