As patrons enter Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany’s Commissary, Oct. 16, the first thing they saw was a small section decorated in pink. Important information, buttons, different kinds of sweets and pink lemonade sat on a long table. Commissary employees greeted patrons, welcoming them to the Breast Cancer Awareness “Pink Out” Extravaganza. The event was held by the employees to promote awareness and support several fellow employees battling cancer.
