Aug 26, 2015
Lt. Gen. William M. Faulkner, deputy commandant, Installations and Logistics, Washington, D.C., visited Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Aug. 25, for a farewell tour. He also visited Marine Corps Logistics Command. During his visit with base officials and department directors, Faulkner recognized some key Marines and civilian-Marines for their efforts and encouraged the command to continue the great initiatives that have been established, specifically safety and energy achievements. He also highlighted the great partnerships and mutually beneficial relationships the installation shares with the Albany community as well as the Southwest Georgia region. Faulkner will retire soon from the Marine Corps and was appreciative of having the opportunity to visit the command one last time.
