Marines from Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany and Marine Corps Logistics Command participate in the 12th annual Senior Citizens Prom held at the Albany James H. Gray Sr. Civic Center, June 19.
The event was hosted by the Albany Recreation and Parks Department for area seniors as a way for them to enjoy themselves in a safe environment with their peers. "They look forward to this event every year and they love seeing the Marines and police officers who volunteer their time to escort and dance with them," Tee Taylor, program coordinator, said. "We miss the Marines in their uniforms this year, but they still look good and you can still tell they are Marines."
