Dozens of community leaders came together at the Bridge House Conference Room located inside the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau, Albany, Ga., to bid farewell to three top leaders at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, April 22. Dr. David Mosely, superintendent, Dougherty County School System, presented game balls to Col. Don Davis, commanding officer, MCLB Albany, and Maj. Gen. John Broadmeadow, commanding general, and Sgt. Maj. Joseph Davenport, sergeant major, both of Marine Corps Logistics Command, for their support of public education. Chris Cohilas, county commission chairman, Dougherty County Commission, and Tommy Clark, chairman, Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, presented awards to each for their community involvement and support.
