Free and open to the public 2014 Independence Day celebration Friday, June 27 at MCLB Albany
To celebrate our nation's birthday, join us at the free 2014 Independence Day celebration at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Friday, June 27. Open to the public, the fun begins at 4 p.m. with food vendors, children's bouncies and waterslides, a static display and a DJ at Boyett Park/Covella Pond. Unbreakable Bloodline performs from 5-7 p.m. At 6 and 7:30 p.m. there will be military working dog demonstrations. From 7:30-9:30 p.m. Barb Wire performs. At dark there will be fireworks. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, but no weapons, knives, coolers or pets (excluding service dogs) may be brought on base.
