A worker steam cleans an assault amphibious vehicle recently at Marine Depot Maintenance Command. The AAV is being repaired and restored like new following its use in combat. There are several phases of the repair process and this AAV is in the third stage. Once the repairs are completed, the AAV will be returned to the Marine Corps’ operating forces.
