The shadow of Cpl. Chadd Arnold, administrative clerk, Military Personnel Branch, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, wearing a uniform worn by Marines in 1775, reminds us to reflect on the sacrifices made by many Marines as the Corps celebrates its 241-year legacy. Arnold was among several Marines to wear uniforms from throughout the Corps’ eras during a birthday pageant at Covella Pond aboard MCLB Albany, Nov. 1.

Wearing a “Think-Pink” camouflage wristband in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Anthony Wade, operations and plans specialist, Operations and Training Division, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, recently, honors “a close friend,” Melissa Jefferson of Columbus, Ga. Jefferson (pictured left), who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, survived a double mastectomy and is currently cancer-free.
