Pamela Jackson, community plans liaison officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, will receive the 2012 Presidential Citizens Medal, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor, Friday. Jackson, a native of Albany, Ga., was selected for the award because of her work with childhood obesity.
