Brig. Gen. Patrick J. Hermesmann, commanding general,  4th Marine Logistics Group, makes his first visit to Marine Corps Logistics Command, 02 October, 2014.

Having recently assumed his current position, Hermesmann visited LOGCOM to meet with senior leaders and discuss the interactions between the two organizations.

During his visit, Hermesmann was briefed by center directors on LOGCOM’s mission core competencies, and specific initiatives that directly impact the Marine Corps logistics enterprise.

Maj. Gen. John J. Broadmeadow, commanding general, LOGCOM, commented that, “LOGCOM always wants to capitalize on any opportunity to discuss the tactical requirements of our supported organizations with their senior leadership. This enables us to understand how we can best support their role in the Marine Corps’ mission to be the nation’s expeditionary force in readiness.”
