All employees aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany must produce the standard Department of Defense common access card or contractor badge at the entry gates before accessing the installation, according to Installation Access Control Policy, Marine Administrative Message 533/08.
Retirees and/or family members who are not accessing the installation under the premise of employment, are authorized to provide the color-coded Teslin identification cards to access privileged areas such as Marine Corps Community Service facilities, Naval Branch Health Clinic and the Commissary.
Marine Corps Order 5512.11D states all ID card-holders are to carry their ID cards at all times and to surrender the card when a military or civilian authority requires it for identification, investigation, when in confinement, upon discharge or card expiration.
ID cardholders are to notify the Pass and ID Office when there is any change in status that could change eligibility to ID card benefits and privilege, or logical/physical access, according to the order.
