Dustin Lee, a military working dog handler stationed here who died in combat in Iraq March 21, 2007, escorts his son’s MWD Lex during a ceremony held at the Government Center in downtown Albany, Ga., May 14. They are escorted by Jamie Littlefield, who served with Lee in the Marine Corps and is now a civilian police officer at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Ga. The Lee family adopted Lex following Lee’s death. The ceremony honored local law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, including Lee.
