Marines conduct annual rifle qualification at Ft. Benning

Marines conducted their annual qualification training at Ft. Benning, May 5-8, 2025.

With 105 Marines in attendance from Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, that included Detachment 2, General Accounts and Inspector-Instructor staff, 85 shooters qualified during the annual rifle qualification course.

1stSgt Paul Alejo, I&I first sergeant, said the ARQ consisted of shooting from the 500, 300, 100 and 25-yard lines while moving to engage targets.

"We're trying to stay ready and marksmanship is definitely one of the hallmarks of the Marines. The more confident they are with the weapon, the better they shoot and the more lethal we stay," adds Alejo.
