MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE ALBANY -- Former Marine, Sgt. Austin Dawley, military police officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, recently left the Marine Corps and moved to his home state of Minnesota in pursuit of becoming a state trooper.
Dawley is one of 42 new troopers in the 70th class at the Minnesota State Patrol Training Academy, Camp Ripley, Little Falls, MN who successfully completed the academy and was celebrated in a graduation ceremony, April 22.
He was pinned by his sisters Morgan and Lexi.
Dawley will complete field training before solo patrols at his post in Duluth, Minnesota.
