Colonel Ritchie is from Fort Worth, Texas, and was commissioned in 2005 after graduating from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.
Colonel Ritchie’s Fleet Marine Force assignments include: Supply Officer, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 11, including a deployment with MALS-16 FWD in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom; Aviation Supply Department Head, MALS-11; Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, Aviation Logistics Department, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing; Commanding Officer, MALS-31; Command Inspector General, Marine Corps Installations-Pacific.
Colonel Ritchie’s Headquarters Marine Corps and supporting establishment assignments include Regular/Reserve Promotions Officer, Promotion Branch, Manpower Management Division; Supply, Strategy & Plans Officer, Aviation Sustainment Branch, Deputy Commandant for Aviation; Officer in Charge, Prior Service Recruiting Station 4, 4th Marine Corps Recruiting District; Executive Officer, 9th Battalion, United States Military Entrance Processing Command.
His civilian and professional military education includes a Master of Business Administration with Supply Chain Management Concentration, Texas Christian University; Expeditionary Warfare School and Command and Staff College Distance Education Programs, Marine Corps University; Master of Strategic Studies, Air War College, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell AFB, AL.
Colonel Ritchie assumed command of Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany on 29 June 2026.
Colonel Ritchie’s personal awards include: the Meritorious Service Medal (Third Award); the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Second Award); and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
He is married to the former Monique Chavez and has three children.
