OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) Spray Training

Marines selected to be part of the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany Security Augment Force received week-long classroom and face-to-face training on that included the use of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense. Participants endured a lesson in oleoresin capsicum, or OC spray, in order to complete the course, Nov. 19.

MCLB Albany hosted a Battle Skills Test to implement challenging and realistic training, June 25. Teams completed all timed phases including ground fighting, medical evaluation, Kim's Game, and pistol range. The end state (of this training) is to teach field craft and critical thinking skills while enhancing the Marines’ physical fitness and team building skills. #semperfi #oorah

CH-47F Chinook Aircraft Orientation

Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany hosted a CH-47F Chinook aircraft orientation for nearly 70 Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadets from Albany State University and Fort Valley State University, April 29. The intent was to build interest in aviation and the Georgia Army National Guard while also showing cadets, some of whom were selected for active-duty, the various capabilities within the Army.
