Sailors from the Naval Branch Health Clinic Albany celebrate the Hospital Corps’ 116th birthday, June 18, with a mile-and-a-half run aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany. The Hospital Corps’ official birthday is June 17. Corpsmen, otherwise known as “doc,” have accompanied Marines into battle, demonstrating courage and leaving a lasting legacy for centuries.
