The recent government shutdown has affected a limited number of programs and services on Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany. While the majority of installation services will remain operational, a small number may be affected due to reduced staffing until federal funding is restored.
There are currently no planned changes in operations or hours for Branch Health Clinic Albany, commissary, and Globe & Anchor dining facility. Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), including fitness centers, child development centers, Marine Corps Exchange and gas station will remain fully operational until further notice.
Some of the programs and services that are operating on reduced staff or operating hours include: the visitor control center (VCC), civilian human resources office, family housing, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Office. VCC services are reduced to DEERS appointments only. For VCC assistance the contact number is 639-5118.
