City of Albany’s Fire and Rescue Department’s Dive Team members emerge from the murky waters at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany’s Covella Pond during a “Lost-Child” full-scale exercise, June 13. In the scenario, emergency responders had received a report that a young boy had been seen entering the pond earlier. The training was implemented in collaboration with the city’s mutual partners to evaluate reaction and response time in the event that this had been an actual occurrence.
