Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany’s Marine Corps Police Department law enforcement personnel join fellow uniformed officers from Albany and Dougherty County Police Departments, Dougherty County Sheriff’s Department to participate in the city’s Law Enforcement Memorial Week Ceremony, recently. A capacity crowd of law enforcement officers, family members and local government officials attended the ceremony, which was held at Albany State University’s L. Orene Hall, is an annual observance to commemorate the sacrifices of police officers who died in the line of duty.
