The Eastern diamondback rattlesnake is one of six kinds of venomous snakes found in Southwest Georgia. The Eastern diamondback rattlesnake and the water moccasin have been documented aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, according to Julie Robbins, natural resource manager, MCLB Albany.
