Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany is one of seven winners chosen to be honored at the first Community Heroes Luncheon at the Albany Museum of Art, Albany, Ga., Jan. 28. The Community Heroes recognition is part of the Albany Dougherty Economic Development Commission's marketing campaign, "There's Only One Albany," which was formed to present a positive image of Albany. The event honored those individuals and organizations in the community who are making a difference and giving back through service to others. Col. Don Davis, commanding officer, accepted the "Local Business" award on behalf of MCLB Albany.
