Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany

MCLB Albany officials hosted a Security Seminar, May 13, aboard the installation to facilitate, encourage and promote better, continued and increased communication between public safety personnel and professionals from local and regional law enforcement agencies.

The better working relationships and communication that exists between the professionals of those agencies directly results in the increased, overall safety and security of all individuals within the Albany community, the Southwest Georgia region and the state as a whole.

According to base officials, today was a great opportunity to get everyone together and discuss what future partnerships, communication and facilitation efforts exist for upcoming events throughout the region. In establishing relationships and open communication lines now, all agencies are better prepared in the event coordination needs to happen.
