MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE ALBANY, GA -- Nearly 200 leaders from around the state of Georgia visited Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany recently. For the first time since 2005, the current class visited Albany, Ga., to learn about some of the major employers and the community as a whole.
According to program organizers, the ultimate goal of each visit is to experience the different communities and "potentially take some of what they leaned back their own community."
Their visit consisted of MCLB Albany and Marine Corps Logistics Command overviews, a tour of Marine Force Storage Center, Marine Depot Maintenance Command and a military working dog demonstration.
